Residential Solar Incentives Have Changed
PowerPath helps keep solar within reach
Residential solar incentives have changed. PowerPath uses a third-party ownership structure that allows Amicus Impact Cooperative, the system owner, to use available commercial solar incentives and pass value through as an upfront discount.
That means customers do not need to personally claim a federal solar tax credit. Instead, the value is reflected in the prepaid lease price. Customers receive the energy savings from day one, while Amicus Impact owns the system during the lease period and Catamount Solar remains the local installation, monitoring, and service relationship.
